Description: This is our high end heat exchanger core. ZZPerformance Universal Front Mount Air to Liquid Heat Exchanger Basically if you have a supercharger setup that uses an intercooler pump to pump the water then this will be essential addition to your setup. The very best on the market after years of redesigning to come up with the best unit on the market! You will notice our core is larger and thicker than the typical ones. We do not have ugly aluminum straight tubes coming out that has a fixed tubing diameter size and length. We use actual 1/2" NPT threaded bungs for the two side ports. What makes the NPT thread fittings nice is you are not stuck with the design of the heat exchanger. You can go to any hardware store in the plumbing section and buy NPT threaded fittings that go straight, 45 degree, 90 degree, etc for your custom setup. Sometimes you just don't have room so this design doesn't have you stuck with kinked lines or having to route it all weird. You can also change the size to whatever you want as NPT to barbed you can change the size to 1/2" barbed, 3/4" barbed to even 1" barbed. No more having to find an intercooler pump just to match the permanent size tubing coming out of the heat exhanger. You can use either side for inlet and outlet. It doesn't matter. We originally designed this for our 3800 intercooler kits like on Grand Prix's and Buick Regals, but many companies loved our design so they buy them from us to weld on their own brackets to custom put them on Mercedes Benz, Honda Civics, Ford Mustang Cobra's, LSA supercharger setups, etc. This is perfect for aftermarket supercharger intercooler kits. So we are now selling them as a universal so that you can weld on your own brackets.
