Description: Antique original World war two German P 38 holster CGU 41 "cgu “ - W.K.Stolla's Söhne (Wien) scarce early war only maker - it shows typical honest wear This one saw the preverbal elephant! At one time , it had some captured German insignia attached to the front ( this was common with GI captured holsters ) There are 4 tiny holes ( see the photos ) the internal ‘ lift up strap’ has been cut off , The holster body was slightly modified near the closing loop , making it more accessible for a trigger finger / combat fast draw - the closure strap looks like it was shorted by approximately 1 or 2” The bottom of the mag pouch was purposely cut out - allowing for moisture to drain ( commonly done on the snowy & cold eastern front ) It sounds worse than it is The over all good condition quite solid - It can still be used Guaranteed original WW2 German mfg & issued not perfect , but then again ,.. it’s not $900.00 either !
