Originally issued during ( WWII ) World War Two by the U.S. Government Printing Office, this shows a bunch of paratroopers falling from the sky, with one soldier standing firm with a Thompson submachine gun. "Back The Attack", this poster was issued to encourage the public to support the war effort by buying War Bonds. The artwork shows the WWII era practice of using different colored parachutes to identify supplies. For instance, the red canopies indicated ammunition. The original was published in 1943.
