Description: Here is an amp I used to make a spectrum analyzer more sensitive when I was testing screen rooms. This is a Watkins Johnson solid state amp with integral power supply, model WJ 5310-35. It has a minimum gain of 35 dB across the band and long ago I measured 40 dB. Noise figure is about 5 dB IIRC. I added the standard line cord (removed the military connector) and used with a pair of 8-12 GHz isolators, which are included. Selling "as is" due to age of power supply caps but seemed to work fine, I just dont want anyone disappointed. The amp is a relatively small box that can be easily removed from the housing (TWT replacement sized box for form/fit/function and used by the Navy for submarine ELINT systems), amp runs on +15 volts DC, sma (f) connectors.
