This is Refined Italian Vintage MCM Wood Jewelry Box with Pink Velvet Lined, a lock and 2 keys included from the 1950s-1960s! The exterior is made from wood with very smooth finisht. The inside (included the underside of the lid) is lining a pink velvet fabric. The top level/ drawer lifts out for more storage on bottom. The top drawer has 8 compartments and 1 rings section, & the bottom has one big open space. Features: 8 compartments 2x1.5in + 1 compartments 4.5x4.25 in Useful internal height 3 in. Double protection against penetration! This box has a secret lock that slams shut when the lid is closed. Even without locking the lock with a key, the lid of the box is held in the closed position. To open the lock, you need to move a small lever of the lock to the left, it took me several attempts to figure out (see video). Very well made. They don’t make boxes of this quality any more. This would be the perfect addition to the MCM dresser top, or to store your vintage jewelry.
