Description: Vintage Red Wing Pottery Futura CRAZY RHYTHM ONE Bread & Butter Plate MCM in very good used condition. The listing is for 1 Bread & Butter Plate. Red Wing Potteries was founded in 1877 in Red Wing, MN, as a manufacturer of utilitarian stoneware. Red Wing’s dinnerware production began in 1935 and continued until their closure in 1967. The Futura shape was described by the company as being “designed for practicality as well as interest and grace”. The pattern Crazy Rhythm offered a funky abstract design in muted colors added to a popular shape line. The plate is not quite 7" by 6 1/2" oval shaped, by 7/8" tall. The plate is marked Red Wing Handpainted USA. The plate has several little dings/chips on the bottom of it. Otherwise it is in very good condition. Please refer to the pictures. Thanks for looking.
