Description: Vintage Marx The Big Parade was one of four toys made by Marx that were known as "Traffic Simulating Toys". It's a wind-up, spring driven mechanical tin litho toy, built in appreciation of the soldiers who fought and died in WWI. This example is in good condition and probably one of few that actually still works. It measures 24" long. There is a Red Cross Ambulance / Truck and six two-dimensional soldiers, marching and on horseback pulling a cannon. It has a built in wind up on top of one of the buildings with an on/ off switch. THE BIG PARADE graphics have faded. No plane. Shipping includes full insurance. Please check all pictures and feel free to e-mail with any questions or additional pictures. I pack very well, inside and out. Please check my other auctions for more vintage models, planes, trains and many other items. I will combine shipping for multiple sales when possible. Thanks for looking!
