Vintage Longines Wittnauer Electro-Chron Stainless Steel Mens Watch 1960

Description: This is a vintage wristwatch dating to circa 1960. This is handsome, clean, and in excellent condition. It was made by Longines' associate company Wittnauer. This has been professionally cleaned and checked. It will be shipped with a fresh battery installed. The watch runs well and keeps time. The time sets as it should. The case is all stainless steel and it is about 34mm wide not including the rare signed crown. It is about 44mm long to the tips of the lugs. The movement is a high quality Wittnauer Balance Wheel Electric 11EW1 and it has 12 jewels. The band is a new, good quality Hirsch leather strap. The total length of the watch is about 9 inches. This uses an 18 mm band which could easily be replaced if you prefer a different style or length. The crystal is clean and clear and has no scratches. The original, untouched dial is pristine and is depicted accurately in the pictures. Please see my other listings...I am always listing rare watches and chronographs.
