Description: Exquisite, entirely handsewn vintage silk short haori open robe or jacket. Purchased as vintage in Kyoto Japan in 1999. The color is a soft blue with white curving lines, as ripples in water. The lining is white silk with woven chrysanthemum pattern. The condition is extremely good. The item has been well preserved. No stains, tears, repairs, or odors are apparent. Please note that I am not a garment conservator; I have described to the best of my abilities.
