Description: This is a beautiful little tray made in Deruta Italy, and features what look like little wild plums in different colors. I just love the edge of this piece as it has the vibrant teal painted ribbons around a gorgeous more muted chartreuse green leaves. The whole piece to me has just a bit of a different color scheme than most the Italian pottery I see. This piece is I excellent condition, and was made in 1992, so has already withstood 32 years of use and yet still looks great. I would use this for just about anything I needed a tray for, but my top two would most likely be on my sink to set my soap, and sponge and scrubbers, and second as a condiment tray, for as simple as sugar and cream to Sunday toppings. Such a versatile little piece, and not confined for use only in the kitchen. This would also be a gorgeous place to set some pillar candles.
