Vintage 1980s Sybaris French Lingerie Set Bra & Garter Belt Tambour Lace XXS

Description: This is a vintage 1985 lingerie set from French brand Sybaris. Sybaris was a small Lyon-based company founded in 1966 by Yvette Sibarita and her husband, producing 100% handmade high end lingerie pieces. The set includes a bra and garter belt.The bra is a triangle style in cotton mesh with floral tambour lace accenting the cups. There is a pearly flower decoration at center front. There are partial center seams in the cups for shaping. They measure 2 1/2 inches long from the bottom of the band up. There is encased side boning that measures 2 inches long. The boning has some flex so it is possibly a type of plastic. There are elasticized adjustable straps and a back clasp for closure. The bottom band is also elasticized. The hardware is monochrome plastic rather than metal.The garter belt is in the same mesh fabric with tambour lace in front. The waist of the belt does not stretch except for a 3-inch long piece that is elasticized and holds the back closure hook. The garter straps are elasticized and adjustable. The hardware is monochrome plastic like the bra, except for the garter clips which are clear plastic and clear rubber. The clips have an ingenious design that slides into place. I've left two open and two closed so you'll be able to see how to work them. The clips are hidden behind lace.The mesh fabric is a champagne color. The tambour lace is in very delicate and subtle pastels, and actually includes the colors blue, pink, green and yellow, outlined in white. Fabric and care: labeled as cotton melange. There is no care label, but the pieces have been hand washed in cold water and line dried. I labeled the sizing as XXS, but please note the actual French sizing on the label as well as the measurements. And keep in mind that this is vintage sizing.
