Description: Vintage 1940s gabardine suit, soutache and beads at collar. Unfortunately there are some moth holes holes at the top of the skirt and waist band, on the jacket at several spots, including sleeves, front and back. The primary problem is the discoloration on the left side of the jacket and on the skirt. My guess is that the suit originally had celluloid buttons that degraded, left spots on the jacket and the skirt corresponding to where the buttons touched the fabric. Burned right through the lining, though the rest of the lining is in generally good shape. See photos. Buttons are replacements and need resewing, they are very loose.
