Danny Kaye starred as a young daydreaming proofreader (later associate editor) for a magazine publishing firm and Virginia Mayo as the girl of his dreams. This poster is from the first Belgian release of the movie in 1949. It features wonderful original artwork that is unique to this Belgian release poster. DESCRIPTION: The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty (1947) - Samuel Goldwyn Productions, Directed by Norman Z. McLeodCOUNTRY OF ORIGIN/SIZE: Belgium 14" x 19.75" CONDITION: Good to Very Good Trimmed Folded Condition. Partially trimmed top white border has remnants of a former theater exhibition snipe. Some bumps, nicks and paper crinkling in the surrounding white borders. A tax stamp is affixed in the upper right artwork area. Overall yellowing to the paper. Artwork is vivid and completely intact. Folded as originally issued, this poster has been stored flat for the past 21 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube or box.
