Description: Like new, out of print (OOP) Twilight Time Blu-ray of THE FABULOUS BAKER BOYS, the excellent 1989 film starring Jeff Bridges and Beau Bridges as piano-playing brothers whose lounge act has grown stale. They decide to add a singer and when it's Michelle Pfeiffer the results are spectacular. Great directorial debut by Steve Kloves, who has gone on to so far make just one more feature as director but write celebrated screenplays of Wonder Boys and the Harry Potter films. Special features include an audio commentary by writer/director Kloves with film historians (and TT principals) Julie Kirgo and Nick Redman and a second commentary by director of photography Michael Ballhaus. There's also more than 20 minutes of great deleted scenes, the original theatrical trailer and the original booklet with an essay by Kirgo. This limited Twilight Time release had just 3,000 copies and is long unavailable. Additionally, the Twilight Time folks once offered a deal where you could get this with writer/director Steve Kloves' autograph on the booklet. I personally did this and that's the origin of the included signature. So it must have been a very limited number of such editions out there.
