Description: Satsuma GYOKUZAN Antique VASE with Bamboo,Birds and Minkas images with Gold Accents and crackle look Meiji period (1868-1912) Chin Jukan XII (1835-1906) was the founding father of the satsuma industry in Kagoshima, Satsuma province. He exhibited at many international exhibitions during the years 1873-1906. The factory produced blanks for Satsuma decorators across Japan, notably Yabu Meizan and Gyokushu.
