Description: This whimsical lithograph of a bull Frog is by the artist Valerie Swenson, and measures 6 in. X 8 in. and is in very good condition. It is not dated though I believe this is from the 1950s. Swenson signed the print using her pen name, Ole, in the print. Valerie Swenson is an American Postwar & Contemporary artist who was born in 1907.She wrote and illustrated many books about nature and also created many fine paintings, mostly watercolors, and prints - lithographs, woodblocks, and silkscreens. Swenson, while born in Kansas City, MO, worked in the Hudson Valley and lived in Shandhaken NY. Following her death I was able purchase a large assortment of her artwork.
