Description: MILES DAVIS Description Scarce and highly collectible large original first printing concert poster advertising the Miles Davis Octet at the Donauhalle in Regensburg on Saturday, 7th November, 1987 in support of the Tutu album, Miles' tribute to Archbishop Desmond Tutu, the first black Anglican Archbishop of Cape Town, South Africa. Besides the leader himself, the octet included Kenny Garrett (as, fl); Robert Irving III (synth); Adam Holzman (synth); Joe "Foley" McCreary (lead-b); Darryl Jones (el-b); Ricky Wellman (d); and Rudy Bird (perc). The poster measures 60.5 x 87.4 cm (approx. 23.8" by 34.4" inches) and is beautifully printed in red and black inks on thin, gloss-coated paper stock.
