illy Art Collection 2002 No Water No Coffee Espresso Cup/Saucer, 06805

Description: Here you have a fantastic espresso cup and saucer set from Illy's 2002 Art Collection. This set was designed by Maria Joao Calisto. Maria Joao Calisto, who designed this set, was selected in 2001 from students of the “UNIDEE Università delle Idee” school-workshop at the Pistoletto Foundation. In this collection, two subjects confront each other: Nature versus Technology. Nature is represented by water, while Technology is represented by the illy web site. Even if the main goal of those using these cups is to drink coffee, they still function as a means of communication and heightened awareness. NOTE: The plate stand isn't included with this set. I have several sets from this collection listed and will combine shipping if you buy more than one! Condition: This set is in nice used condition with no chips and cracks. It does have one nick in the edge of the saucer which has been glazed over so it's a manufacturing flaw and not damage. It has minimal to no wear. Size: The cup holds 2 ounces. The cup is 1 7/8 inches tall and has a diameter of 2 3/8 inches. The saucer has a diameter of 4.75 inches. Shipping and Handling: Shipping will be by USPS Ground Advantage Mail. I use clean, recycled boxes. I carefully wrap any breakable items and ship all items in plenty of packing material (packing peanuts for breakable items and tissue/newspaper for unbreakable items). If you want any special packaging (for example double boxing an item or combine shipping) I am happy to do so, but please email me and let me know. I will repackage items and invoice for the item as well as any additional shipping costs based on any change in the weight of your item. I determine shipping costs based on the postage calculator tool on eBay and only round up slightly (usually less than a dollar) to cover eBay shipping fees. Thank you for looking!
