Description: Hikvision network video camera model DS-2CD7027FWD-A firmware V5.5.94 200225. I was unable to find info about this particular model - maybe custom. Anyway, just treat it the same as known models. If you don't know password - just press reset button on power-up and hold it for 15 seconds. Default camera ip address is 192.168.1.64 - use Internet Explorer to go to this address - window will pop-up to create new password. Default name is admin. GUI (in browser) is Chinese language only - so, I guess it was intended for Chinese market. Live view works after installing plugin. Other browsers might work (partially). There is (was) client software iVMS-4200 - multi language / English version - but if you search for on-line devices and then Add your camera - it gives error "language mismatch" and added camera is off-line and no streaming in live view. Google "language mismatch" - see what people do to overcome this. I downloaded older iVMS-4200 2.8.2.2 and was able to view live video and synchronize time. However, settings show only basic info. If Advanced selected - it tries to load settings - freezes then reverts to basic view. Can't change settings there. Another solution - download and install all Hikvision Device Network SDK (English) - and run sample Demo application - all settings in English - works with Chinese firmware camera. There are possibly other ways to make GUI work in English but I do not want to modify the camera - it's up to the buyer - just don't return camera, in case if you brick it, please. Lens is not parfocal - that is - if you change zoom - it will not stay in focus - you will have to refocus it. Focusing can be done in GUI, but zooming is manual only. Originally, zoom was fixed by tightening zoom handle screw. You can unscrew it - change zoom to your need, and maybe tighten it again. Refocus manually (also unscrew its handle a little - then tighten but not too much - so that motor can do fine focusing). Network video has some delay / latency - which is normal for this interface. This (latency) makes focusing difficult - when it shows in-focus - you already moved past that. So do it very slowly. There is analog video out - but connector is unfamiliar to me.
