Shows a very even low pile throughout down to or close to the foundation, but not showing. Salvage is replaced and the ends have been slightly rebuilt. There are areas of repiling in the field. This is an early and very collectible piece that is well drawn and extremely handsome color combinations. The stylized birds are well conceived and quite beautiful in their own right.
