Description: Hello guys I appreciate your interest! This Hammer sparked my interest being a Axe/Hatchet collector. Being UNBRANDED not sure if this is a remake or original. Consider that before purchase! MY SUMMARY OF ITEM: This particular hammer made me learn abit about it after catching my interest. Thought it was homemade or Brand promotion. But I believe and was told by other people that these were for pulling out long nails and the multiple claws give you different heights and leverage instead of using a piece of stock under the hammer for height like I have. I believe these were a failed invention in the early 1900's that never took off so these are rare! Just my summary! The actual hammer head looks like an old design as well. This summary is my beliefs and research. Feel free to message about facts on these! CONDITION OF ITEM: This hammer is old and used. Alot of people think it's welded but I don't see any weld and grinder marks and has even patina. Really heavy duty. The base of head someone used JB Weld or a QuikSteel type of material as well as on the eye of the hammer but seems more then sturdy. Heavy and solid!
