Description: Antique stoneware 3 gallon butter churn with lid and an amazing beautiful drippy brown glaze. Churn is marked with a 3 on the front. No maker marks but possibly a southern or midwestern piece. Measures approx. 14" tall x 8" across the rim. Good condition showing typical wear from use. There is a chip on the outer rim and several on the inner rim, plus typical manufacturer blips in the clay and glaze including several indentations, tool scratches, scribe lines and marks, finger prints, etc. Lid or top is a shade or two darker and has some chips also. See photos, all sides shown. Thanks for looking!
