Description: Featured is a stunning and rare Antique Edda Vase Amphora Austria Turn Teplitz Irridecent Heliosine Glaze with dripping Stalactites. Bohemian earthenware pottery hand-painted and glazed with raised grapes, vines and leaves. Measures approx. 9.75" tall.This piece was was created in Austria in the early 20th century (1900-1908) and attributed to Stellmacher & Kessel and is part of their Edda Series Line. The exceptional combination of colors and techniques, as well as the unprecedented craftsmanship used in creating this masterpiece make it an extraordinary presentation piece that displays beautifully. This measures 9.5" high and approx 6" diameter at the widest point. Considering the age of this vase of over 100 years since its creation, it is in lovely condition. Again, given its age, there are a few condition issues. Please see the last few photos for these issues as this piece is being sold "as is".Issues - tiny chip in leaf-small piece missing vine-crazing in glaze Considering that this is approximately 120 years old, wear is almost a given. This piece is marked Amphora, Edda, "F" and numbered on the base (see photos)I will double box this extremely securely and carefully.
