Description: 1986 Fender SquierStratocaster Electric Guitar Made in Japan Includes: Guitar and Tremolo bar I purchased this guitar in 2018 used online. There are a few dings, dents and scratches on this guitar body but nothing major; it was used but not abused. I believe the body color is Torino Red. This guitar is from the Fender Japan E series that was made from 1984-1987. E 6 in the serial number means E series 1986. These E serial, made in Japan builds are a veritable collectors choice when it comes to the Fender/Squier legacy and display a level of build quality and attention to detail we don't often see in current entry level pieces. This piece is a remarkably well made instrument that's closely modeled after an early '60s Strat, replete with appointments like a well grained, one piece maple neck, rosewood slab-board, lightweight, contoured body, and classic hardware.There are 21 frets with virtually no playwear and low action. The maple neck is straight with a dark rosewood board. The bridge is a vintage style with no markings on the saddles. The tuners are Fender sealed and in very good condition. Many of the screws on the body are slightly tarnished. The guitar appears to be all original as far as I can tell..Electronics check out with no scratchiness in the pots.
