Description: Could this be your new rig? Listed is a 1972 Mark VI alto saxophone in fantastic playing condition, serial number M198809. Throughout the life of this piece, it has undergone a relacquer, as well as a pad replacement. As seen in the images, some imperfections exist in the finish, but they are mostly confined to the bottom of the instrument. Likewise, a small dent is present at the bottommost guard of the saxophone: this does not affect the sound of the instrument. This piece is situated in its original case, which has been subject to shelf wear. The case has undergone considerable repairs (see images). Coupled with the saxophone is a coveted JodyJazz DV mouthpiece, which has seen very little use -- it is in great condition, save for an imperfection in the curvature of the bore (see image).
